“Instead I said, ‘Jesus loves you, man”

I was outside the Sober House and a drunk guy walked past and decided he was ready to fight. He was talking smack and yelling some messed up things at me. With my history, I was ready to pound him. I’m a former Marine and I could have beat his face in in a minute. The weird thing is that when I walked up to him, a peace came over me and I said ‘Jesus loves you. Cool down, man. Cool down.’ That had to be the Holy Spirit working in my life! There’s no other way to explain my response!
